I used my Embossing buddy on four 3 3/4X5 inch pieces of Masters Touch water color paper. I used Vera March and Hero Arts white embossing powder. The two images are from Stampin UP's Happy Watercolor stamp set.
Using Tim Holtz distress ink and the Mini Ink blending tools I colored the Embossed water color papers.
Green - Peeled Paint, Old Paper, and Antique Linen
Blue - Evergreen Bough, Salty Ocean, and Peacock Feathers
Orange - Rusty Hinge, Spiced Marmalade, and Tea Dye
Pink - Victorian Velvent, Worn Lipstick, and Spun Sugar
Brushes and water along with paper towels.
Added water in the stamped image and let it sit for under 1 - 2 minutes.
Blotted of the water, left flower no water and the right flower has the water blotched.
Finished water blotting and then I added splatters with a paintbrush.
I let the water splatters set for 1 - 2 minutes and blotted with a towel.
I scored down the middle of one page at 4 1/4, using the track in the middle that's for the blade and used it for my bone folder.
Then turned the paper in half and cut at 5 1/2 and there you have two cut and scored card bases at ounce.
I used my Versa Mark ink and Recollections (Micheal's brand) embossing powder in the color Champagne and added it to my 4x5 1/4 in mat.
After heat set I used my ATG to adhere the stamped mat to the embossed matt.
I added allot of foam tape to the back of that and applied the panell to my card base.
Using Versa Fine I stamped my sympathy set on the inside, love having big enough blocks to have both sentiments on one block. I used Hero Arts With Deepest Sympathy stamp set.
Finished four cards, I used Recollections enamel dots on the front. |

Close up, the front sentiment is from a stamp set by Stampin UP called Express Yourself. |
