Sketch Christmas card with Charlie Brown Tree Stamp

I found a Christmas Card Challenge blog called Tis The Season and they have challenges running for two weeks at a time. I believe there are no prizes for the challenges and that's OK because I like this challenge because this one is a sketch challenge. This is challenge #TTS22.

I used the Sentiment "wishing you a bright & sparkling holiday season" from this stamp set from Hero Arts CL629.
I also used the little tree from the stamp set on the left, (I wrote winter wonderland on it in sharpie so that could be the name but I am not sure).  I used the stamp set on the right just for the sentiment "seasons greeting" (I'm sorry I don't know the name of this stamp set).
Here I took the tree and layed it on my Neenah Bright White paper and found a Sizzix circle die that fit perfectly.
I used Stampin UP Sahara Sand ink and stamped ounce on scratch paper and then on my cut out circle.  It gave me a lighter image so I could color over it with my Stampin UP markers in Basic Grey, Garden Green, and Baked Brown Sugar.
Finished card, I used some neon gems from Micheal's (their Recollection's brand) and also there Star gems.

The pattern paper is from TPC (The paper studio by Hobby Lobby), its an 8 1/2X11 stack called Four Seasons.  I added Stampin UP dimensionals to the back of the tree.

Inside of the card, I added some doodling with a white gel pen and added some more patterned paper.

  2. Jennifer, love your take on our sketch. As I was reading through your blog and looking at your pics it made me think of A Charlie Brown Christmas. Guess Lisa thought the same too. lol Such a cute card...love the colorful ornaments on your tree and the fact that you took the time to do a little something on the inside too. Hope you come back and play some more with us at 'Tis the Season. :)
