Lexis card for her Teacher

I made this card because Lexi starts school on Wednesday, it was pretty easy and took tips from Jennifer McGuire Ink. I think it turned out super cute and will enter this into the Word Art Wednesday Challenge #146 and as always they are an anything goes challenge blog

Here I am just testing the Papertrey ink Seasonal Stitches Apple die on some scarp white card stock.
I will put the white pieces with the dies so that I have them for reference at a later time.  I used Stampin UP card stock in I believe Real Red, Gumball Green and Soft Suede.
Used my Quick Stick and a glue pen to adhered the pieces together.
Using a needle and a threading tool I used some embroidery floss that I got at Hobby Lobby for half off.
Washi tape on the back to hold the strings down.
 All finished.
I used Stampin UP heat and stick powder and some inexpensive glitter and the MFT Diagonal Stripes background on Stampin UP Smokey Slate card stock.

I used dimensional on the main white piece that will go in the center.
 Dimensional of the back.
Another MFT die and that's what the back looks like.
Finished card.

I used a stamp set from Simon Says Stamp called Hey Teacher.

The inside of the card.
