Leaf Fold it - Inked and Splattered

I am participating in anouther Swapp and this is my first card.

I will be sending the Cranberry Leaf to my Swapp Partner and keeping the Marigold one for my stash.

I am using the Fold-It part of the die set ( outer die that says place fold here)
All card stock today is from the Stamps of Life.
Card base in Vanilla and first layer in Chocolate.

Second layer in Vanilla.
This Fold-It set comes designed to also be a shaker.

Main Leaf is two dies.
Like Leaf veins does not cut out only adds the lines cut.
It is easy to center in the smallest die and if it is off a little its OK no one will ever know.
I cut that from Gingersnap card stock.

I am making two Leaf Fold-its.
One is based ink layer of Cranberry.
One is based ink layer of Marigold.

One the edges of both I used Twig.
This ink I brought in further with inking and went around all edges.
Also around the vines.

Next layer I kept to one side of each leaf and not as deep and heavy.
Its the Chocolate color.

Final color is Forever Black and very lightly.
Taylored Expressions mini Blending Brushes work great for this.

I then just for good measure added more Cranberry and Marigold ink to each leaf.
Help all the colors blend.

Tim Holtz paint and some water.
Older kids toothbrushes - we have so many.
A cream (antique linen ) and dark brown ( ground espresso )

Add as much or as little as you want.

This Tim Holtz small Mixed Media Mat worked great for this project.

Heidi Swapp Color Shine.

Gold for both.
Peach for the Marigold Leaf.
Cherry for the Cranberry Leaf.

Twig card stock and Blessings die from Paper Smooches.
I inked the top and bottom of each to blend with their cards.

Also cut two Vanilla Layers.
Glued them ever so slightly ascue.
